The ‘host’ storage collection of furniture includes a cabinet and sideboard. The intersection of the shapes creates protrusions that are reminiscent of a parasite, like mistletoe, in which the host is exploited. However, perhaps this intimacy can be read as co-operation where the relationship is mutually beneficial. The extension of one shape beyond the boundaries of the host reflects the problem of overfilling the available space in a cupboard. MATERIALS dimensions design date PRICE |
